Think about the last few meetings you had (especially with senior folks at your company).

There were a bunch of people in a conference room discussing everything under the sun. You were interacting with them and taking notes wherever needed.

At one moment, you were writing an important point, but the discussion went somewhere else, and because you were focused on noting that one point, you missed the deviation. Now the room is discussing a new idea, and you have no clue what it’s about. Obviously, you’re too afraid to ask.

Or, let’s take another scenario. Very common. You were in a meeting, and zoned out in the middle of some discussion. Now, the discussion has floated into a world you have no idea about..and you can’t understand what the hell is going on.

Of course, again, you cannot ask.

I don’t know how much this happens with you, but with me, this happens A LOT! And I’ve actually suffered quite badly because of this in the past.

Well..Not any more 😎

I now have an AI assistant that takes notes while I focus on the meeting. And even if I zone out, I check this assistant to see what I missed.

This assistant is free, and it also gives me a summary and tells me the action points of the meeting after it’s done. An MoM of sorts. All of it with one click.

The tool I’m talking about today is called TwinMind. It’s my favourite AI tool to use these days, because it solves a real problem of note-taking during meetings. Whether I have a google meet call, an in-person meeting or just a discussion with a colleague — all I do is open the app on my phone, tap on “capture notes” and keep the phone on the table.

The app starts transcribing the entire discussion.

And after the meeting is over, I simply click on the “stop” icon, and it immediately summarises the discussion — removes all the ummms, hmmmms and you knows from the conversation, and gives me a crisp minutes of the meeting. Like literally.

What about other languages?

Well, that’s the beauty of it — TwinMind supports 140 languages. I’ve personally tested it with Hindi and English, and they work like charm! I can literally ask it to summarise the meeting in a different way too based on my preferences, and it does that.

So is it just a note-taking tool?

Nope. The company’s aim is to build a “second brain” with AI. So it’ll do much, much more than just taking notes. But given how well it does the job of taking notes and summarising them, I think they’re on their way to build something super cool 😎

Personally, apart from taking notes in meetings, I also use it to record important, offline discussions with colleagues (of course, after taking consent). I also keep it on to record those webinars whose “recordings will not be shared” so that if I zone out or miss some of it, I can always refer to the notes later.

In fact, I’ve also used it at conferences and events to record panel discussions and speaker sessions — I delegate the note-taking to TwinMind, while I focus on listening to the speaker (and in rare occasions, asking questions 😉)

Honestly, I don’t remember the last time I took notes in a meeting with a book and pen. My Twin Mind does all of that that now!

You should start too. It’s free. Check it out HERE.

I’ll see you next time!

Cheers,

Lazy AI is India’s only newsletter that simplifies AI for non-tech folks. I learn AI, understand it, simplify it and write about it — specifically for non-tech folks (engineers have a lot of learning content anyway 😛)

If you liked this newsletter, it would mean a lot to me if you liked it and shared it with friends. I plan to build a community where we all learn and discuss AI together, to stay ahead of the curve. So sharing this with friends and family will help.
